The course aims at providing a thorough technical know how in the processing technology by offering advanced, specialized and interdisciplinary courses. To receive a degree of B.Tech. (Food Tech), the student must complete 183 credits spread over 8 semesters. The students in VII Semester have to work on hands-on-training to develop innovative food products packaging with new technique as well as marketing. Lastly in VIII semester students have to work in food industry for one complete semester towards In-plant training.

  • Eligibility for B.Tech. (Food Technology)

 III Std. (Science) passed in 10+2 pattern from Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent Examination, with PCM or PCMB and English. Those who have not offered Biology shall have to complete deficiency courses as prescribed by respective University.

Common Entrance Examination i.e.

MHT-CET/JEE/AJEEA-UG organized by competent authority during year 2018-19 in PCM subjects.
